2. Shipping Rates and Fees: 

2.1 Customs Fees: All orders that are being processed and shipped are free of customs duties and taxes*.

*Please note that few countries might encounter delivered duty unpaid (DDU), depending on your country's regulations, meaning that it's the customer's responsibility to pay for any of the destination country's customs charges, duties, or taxes. These must all be paid in order for customs to release the shipment after it arrives.

2.2 Tracking Updates and Package Status: Once shipped, packages may have limited tracking visibility while undergoing customs clearance. It is normal for tracking to not update during this period. Please expect tracking details to refresh within 48-72 hours post-customs clearance.

 

3. Order Cancellation or modification:

3.1 Order cancellation: Orders can be cancelled until they are assigned a first-mile tracking number (usually before the first 24 hours). To cancel, provide the order number via our customer support.

3.2 Order Modification: Modifications are possible before the first mile tracking number is assigned (usually before the first 24 hours). Please contact customer support with your order number for changes.

 

4. Delivery Attempts and Receiving the Package:

Our shipping partners will attempt delivery to the address provided during checkout. In case the delivery is unsuccessful, they may leave a notice for you to reschedule the delivery or pick up the package from a designated location. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the shipping address is accurate and accessible. FormulaCars will not be held liable for any delays or issues arising from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

4.1 Delivered But Not Received: If tracking indicates a package has been delivered but you haven't received it, we recommend waiting a few days as packages might still be in transit. We cannot issue credits for orders that are marked delivered with accurate address matching.

4.1.1 Delivery Responsibility: Once a package is marked as delivered by the courier, we are no longer liable for theft or loss at the delivery location. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure safe and accurate delivery details. In the event of any issues, such as theft or misdelivery, we encourage customers to file a complaint directly with the courier, as we have no control over their practices once the package is in their possession. However, we are committed to assisting our customers to the best of our ability by contacting the courier on their behalf and working towards a resolution whenever possible.

4.2 Package Pickup: If the package is available for pickup, details will be specified in the tracking information. If you have difficulties finding this information, please contact us for assistance.

4.3 Consideration of Lost Packages: A package is considered lost if there is no update in the tracking information for a continuous period of 20 days. 

4.4 Late Arrivals: While we strive to deliver within the estimated time frame, delays may occur due to factors like customs clearance which are beyond our control.

 

5. Return To Sender Policy:

5.1 Incorrect/Incomplete Address Provided by the Customer: If the address provided during the order placement is incorrect or incomplete, the carrier may be unable to deliver the package. In such cases, we do not process refunds or offer free replacements.

5.2 Recipient Not Available: If the recipient is unavailable to receive the package during delivery attempts, the carrier may return the package to us. In such cases, we do not process refunds or offer free replacements.

5.3 Return to Sender but No Details Provided on the Tracking: If there are no tracking details available or if the tracking information indicates delivery failure, we may offer a credit based only on the cost of goods, or a replacement at no extra charge.

 

6. Order related inquiries.

6.1 Missing Items: If an item is missing from your order, please provide a picture of the packing slip. We will promptly address the issue and arrange for the reshipment of the missing item.

6.2 Incorrect Items Received: In the event you receive an incorrect item, send us photographic evidence. We will verify the issue and initiate the reshipment of the correct item.

6.3 Incorrect Model: If the incorrect model is received, please provide a photo of the packing slip or the item. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent as soon as possible.

6.4 Item Not As Expected: We strive to deliver products exactly as described. If an item does not meet personal expectations but matches the description, we are unable to offer refunds based on personal preference.

6.5 Damaged or Defective Items: If you encounter any damaged or defective items, please provide photographic proof. We will arrange a redelivery of replacement pieces at no additional cost. 

6.6 Missing pieces: If your set arrives with missing pieces, please contact our customer service team immediately. Provide your order number and images of the missing pieces. We will ship the missing pieces to you free of charge.

How long till my order is dispatched?

Once we receive your order, we aim to get it packed & labeled within 24h and your parcel gets dispatched to a distribution centre. This distribution centre then selects the fastest shipping method from a range of highly reputable couriers and dispatches the order swiftly. When your order has been dispatched from the distribution centre, you will receive an update with your tracking code.

Has my parcel been dispatched yet?

After placing your order, your parcel is prepared within 24h and is sent to a distribution centre. It will arrive here within 1-3 working days. The team here will select the fastest shipping option to your address and will ship out your parcel in the same day. Once your order is picked up from the distribution centre by the courier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information as well as a link to a website where you can track your order.

If you haven't received a shipping confirmation email yet and it's been more than 4 working days since you placed your order, please get in touch with us and we'll send you your tracking information manually.

Please know that for certain shipping services it can take a bit longer for the tracking number to show updates, so we recommend checking again tomorrow.

However, rest assured that if you have a tracking number it is already with the courier and on its way to you.

If the courier shows that your parcel is delivered, but you haven't yet received it please contact the courier as soon as possible to let them know. 

You can then contact using the form above and we will obtain a copy of the shipping label to confirm with you that the address is correct. 

We know this sounds silly, but in most cases the parcel will have been left in a safe spot or with a neighbour, so please double check your property.
